Archive for the ‘Remakes’ Category

If any of you are regular readers here at the ‘Tuss Reviews, then you know this fact already – for those of you who are not, let me say this clearly: I love 3D movies!
And this is the best of the new technology that I have seen. The 3D effects were really horrifiying, and still [...]

Riddle me this – how could they re-make this movie and leave out the best part? There is a classic line from the 1951 version (for those of you who are too young to know already) “Klaatu Barada Nikto”. So how could they remake this movie and not find a way to work that in?  [...]

This is a PG-13 rated slasher flick.  Ugh.  That seems like a contradiction. Slasher film and PG13, huh? But, there you go. That should tell you somthing.  What is the point of a slasher flick, if you can’t really have any real violence?  I’ve actually seen more gore on House or CSI.

Russell Crowe and Christian Bale were both very good (I really thought the young boy playing Bale’s son looked [...]

The Heartbreak Kid

Someone needs to take the Farrelly Bothers to task. One of you wrote a book called “Comedy Writer.” Well, you didn’t even have to waste your relentless genius on writing this work (Based on Neil Simon – who can genuinely be funny).
It seemed to rely on gross-out pandering tits and ass and base funny to stand [...]
