Let me say this at the beginning; I saw the Discovery Channel show that told the true story with interviews (and cheesy reenactments) with the actual family. I liked the original story far better than the movie version. I encourage people to rent the Discovery Channel versions – just try not to laugh too hard [...]

Well, what is there to say about this movie? Very little. This review is late, so plenty of people have had time to say it better and probably funnier. Still I feel an obligation to write something, so here goes.
This movie is exactly what you expect. And incomprehensible mess about guys driving fast cards, doing [...]

Well, this is a fairly easy review to write. Most of you already know you want to see it, and I’m not going to tell you otherwise. It was a fun movie. A pretty good ride, with very little talking and a lot of action. Its got a car chase, foot chase, boat chase and [...]

Finally, a Ben Stiller Movie that isn’t horrible! This was actually a funny little movie. Several good laughs.
But here is an important tip: Don’t come in late. This is a movie where you want to sit through the trailers. Some of the best work is hidden in there.
This is not a politically correct movie (if [...]

A mindlessly violent movie with pretty things blowing up and pretty, pretty people doing the blowing up… What more could you want in a summer action movie? The stunts are good, the effects are pretty good, the plot is pointless and it’s a whole lot of fun.
It’s a silly little film about an underdog [...]

I’m a girl. I have girl friends. It was all but inevitable that I would end up going to see this. So, I went.
I hadn’t watched the show all that often, but I knew the basics (4 women, different types, good friends, love of shoes and lots of drinking – those are the basics, right?). [...]

Ah, the New Batman. Like everyone else in the world (at least according to the box office numbers), I have seen this movie. I actually was lucky enough to see it in IMAX. I’m not sure it makes that much of a difference, but its nice to see a movie on a really, really, big screen. [...]

This is the latest horror movie by Dario Argento. He’s a guy who is hailed by many as one of the great horror directors of our time. Frankly, I just don’t get it. This is not the first work of his that I’ve have seen, and this is not considered one of his best (by fans and critics [...]

I saw the trailer and I thought this looked terrible. Really terrible. But, then it got fairly good reviews, and I rethought the whole thing. They said that the 3-D effect made it worth while. That, and the fact that it was a short zippy little film.
Truth be told, I’m feeling a little betrayed by the [...]

George Clooney has directed only 3 movies, the last one being “Good Night and Good Luck.” Are you expecting great things for his follow-up?
Ummmm… I guess not.
- Or at least you shouldn’t be. It might be trying to achieve the feel of a screwball comedy, but it fell very short of the mark. I know Howard Hawks [...]
