Let me say this at the beginning; I saw the Discovery Channel show that told the true story with interviews (and cheesy reenactments) with the actual family. I liked the original story far better than the movie version. I encourage people to rent the Discovery Channel versions – just try not to laugh too hard [...]

I really had high hopes for this movie, and sadly it did not live up to them. This was a movie with dull characters, who did not seem to fit together well (why were all those kids on a trip together – they didn’t seem to even know each other, let alone like each other). [...]

If any of you are regular readers here at the ‘Tuss Reviews, then you know this fact already – for those of you who are not, let me say this clearly: I love 3D movies!
And this is the best of the new technology that I have seen. The 3D effects were really horrifiying, and still [...]

So, its October, and I am ready for a great new horror movie! Something to get me in the mood for Halloween. The trailers for Quarantine have been airing for months. And I was really ready to watch this movie. (By the way, there will be spoilers in this review. You have been warned).
Sadly, this [...]

This is the latest horror movie by Dario Argento. He’s a guy who is hailed by many as one of the great horror directors of our time. Frankly, I just don’t get it. This is not the first work of his that I’ve have seen, and this is not considered one of his best (by fans and critics [...]

This is a PG-13 rated slasher flick. Ugh. That seems like a contradiction. Slasher film and PG13, huh? But, there you go. That should tell you somthing. What is the point of a slasher flick, if you can’t really have any real violence? I’ve actually seen more gore on House or CSI.
There were no thrills, there were no chills, and [...]

Let me admit that based on the trailer, I didn’t really want to see this movie. But Thing One and Thing Two (movie partners) called, and off I went. It wasn’t really exactly what I expected.
There were moments that I was genuinely horrified. Not scared, but horrified. Telling me that you are going to do [...]

I think I learned two lessons from this movie. The first is that not only have the dead risen, and they are blood thirsty, but in this modern age, they also love the internet. That is the only explanation I can come up with for the this movie moment: A man uploads film to his [...]
Wow. I have to just say Wow. This was not a good movie. I love some bad horror movies, but this – this was just Not Good.
First off, I was amazed at the voice over work – I’ve heard Jessica Alba do voice overs for Dark Angel – and they sounded fine – these sounded like [...]

I admit freely and openly, I still don’t really understand the title of this movie. But if you are looking for a fun little movie, with no really explanations of what is going on – this is the one to see.
It was a great creature feature, with lots of action and plenty of excitement. But [...]
