A light fluffy family movie, one that was hyped, but not overly productized. This movie was more about the joys of imagination and magic than about selling toys via product placement. It was cute without being overly sweet. Adam Sandler was somewhat restrained, and his usual juvenile humor actually seemed appropriate.

I saw the trailer and I thought this looked terrible.  Really terrible.  But, then it got fairly good reviews, and I rethought the whole thing.  They said that the 3-D effect made it worth while. That, and the fact that it was a short zippy little film.
