I was excited to see this movie but for the first few minutes I was afraid that the writer was substituting cute, precious language for being funny. Like, if you give a character quirky, kitchsy knick-knacks you don’t have to develop the character in any way; Their belongings ARE their character! Clever.
It mostly got over itself [...]

When I was in middle school or high school I remember talking with my dad about the state of musicals. He said they were dead. He claimed there wasn’t much of a point to make more because they always look so tired and remote. I agreed. Audiences had grown accustomed to seeing big hollywood movies and these [...]

This is another that slipped by me.
When I hear Kevin Costner and Demi Moore, my thoughts are: Is it 1992 again? Already?
But…

I admit freely and openly, I still don’t really understand the title of this movie. But if you are looking for a fun little movie, with no really explanations of what is going on – this is the one to see.
It was a great creature feature, with lots of action and plenty of excitement. But [...]

Well, let me say this. I saw it with my Mother, and she cried (not a lot, but still). It was a great movie, and I completely see why it was nominated for an Oscar.
It was deeply tragic and had a fantastic cast. The costumes were fantastic. I enjoyed it very much.
If you want to [...]

What a fun little movie.
I suspected going in that the scene in the clips with the rats and roaches cleaning the house would absolutely crack me up, and it really did.
This is a lite and fluffy movie, nothing complex or complicated, just a fun way to spend a few hours. Its nice to see that [...]

I admitit. I saw the first one years ago and only once, so I have no idea what the changes are that were made.
That being said, its still an excellent movie. As with all Sci-fi there are a few moments that the technology we have today is better that what they imagined we would have, [...]

Great movie.
I, unfortunately saw it in a theater that served food. You know the drill…a waiter innterrupts you to check your order, bring out drinks, then bring out candy and popcorn, then bring out food, then bring out the check then take the check, then bring your receipt.
In a movie that feels like it has [...]
